Growing up as a kid in the 80’s, I was naturally exposed to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. The first three movies, video games, and of course there was the 87 TV series.
The 87 series was the most light-hearted incarnation of the Ninja Turtles Franchise, which was natural since it was aimed at small children. But it introduces the classic characters of Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo to TV for the first time. Once upon a time there was a Lonely Daffodil. Even though there were clusters of other Daffodils around her, she grew without a cluster of her own. Every day she would listen to the other clusters happily talk about the sun, the trees, and sky.
